  • Which planned communities are being constructed in your neighborhood?

  • What kind of construction is happening in your neighborhood?

  • Where are the hot spots?

  • Who’s helping in the restaurant business to service those in need?

  • What kind of community projects are important?

  • What’s happening in the parks?

Right now, Fort Lauderdale is a tale of two cities. Single-family homes on the west side are attracting tons of showings and generating multiple offers, which puts that area in a firm seller’s market. The condo market, meanwhile, is more of a buyer’s market, which means you need to know your interest rates if you plan on buying a condo using financing. Also, remember that each condominium is different.

This information is relevant for sellers because it gives them an idea of the average days on market for homes. It also helps them price their property correctly. On the buyer side, this information helps them prepare so that when they find the perfect home, they’re all set to make an offer on it and claim it as theirs.
